BASIC BEEKEEPING

• Dates: Two full Saturdays, February 6th and 20th, 2027, and a Field Day

• Where: Basking Ridge NJ

• Lead Instructor: Cornell Certified Master Beekeepers Bailey Wright and Kathy Liu

• Cost: $150. ($25 discount for 4-H, FFA, Veterans, First Responders)

This three-day course includes two full days in the classroom, lunch provided, & one field day. It will cover all aspects of entry level beekeeping for the Hobbyist in NJ. This course fulfills the legal requirements of the State of New Jersey for beekeeper education. No prior knowledge of honeybees or beekeeping is required.  Minimum age of students is 14 years old OR be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will attend the class with them.
